I know it is a small tank but i was wondering what type of oddball fish could go in here. (please no dwarf puffer) i have been looking at some of the smaller puffers like fang's and goldens but i cant find them to order them. so i was wondering if there were any other ideas. i cant get a bigger tank and it would have to be the permanent home. thanks in advance

would a amazon puffer with some other sort or fish like some loaches or a RTS work?

how about 1 amazon pufer, and 3 upside down catfish? with maybe a small school of black kuhli loaches? please give me your opinions!

doesnt anyone have any opinions! i know its a small tank tank but theres gotta be something!!!

in a 15 id do something like a butterfly fish and an elephant nose...as long as the filtration is good and the water changes kept up with it would work imo. both are nice oddball fish (neither commonly getting bigger than 5"s, altho i have seen 9" elephants...)

Although you could in theory house a single SAP (South American Puffer) in a 15G tank, they are known to do a lot better in groups of 3 or more... plus with them being very skittish means that housing one in a 15G would be extremely stressful and could end up with him smashing the glass panels...

Also as with any puffer, there personalities can be un-predictable and more than likely won't accept tank mates living with them, so just as a heads up you may want to consider doing a species only tank if your set on getting a puffer...

wouldn't mix the puffer with coolie loaches b/c I'd be concerned that the loaches would either get picked on or just can't compete with the puffers. Personally, I wouldn;t go with puffers since they are pretty boring

elephant nose or butterfly fish. for anything else im afraid it's quite small.
