I believe there are probably 15 - 20, although I have only checked out 5 recently. Of those, 1 is outstanding but does not cater to monsters. 2 are crap, but occasionally get in healthy baby monsters (In fact I just picked up a baby TSN for $10 from one. I'll have pics as soon as I clean the algae off my tank walls.)
I need to get out and check some of the others within easy driving distance to see if I can find any really good ones.

I have only one, it is very small and only sells so call community fish.
It only has small filters for sale, (but they will order what you need, if you can wait for about a week)

Within 15 miles we have one; in a corner of a feed store. The guy who set it up is experienced, though. Fish are his hobby, and the fish he sells are healthy. He orders his fish from Hayward. The rest of the stores are in the city, 30 + miles away. When I called every store there looking for a ghost knife they said they couldn't get one-- wrong time of year-- but our local guy put an order in and the next day it came from Hayward to our tank in excellent condition.
