15 new fishtanks!

The shrimp tank idea is also a good one, since Cherry Red Shrimp now a days are pretty cheap and breed in any type of tank, Crystal Reds can be a little pricey depending on quality and where you are located, but the science behind getting them to breed might be a fun experiment, since you can test how different water hardness etc, effect how quickly or easily they breed...

So all in all, seems like there are a lot of options out there to choose from, depending on what the conditions of setting up the tank are as set by the teacher giving you the reins on this project...

Im planning on doing one that shows how different products affect plant growth
 
The water was 5 feet around my house but luckily didn't get in. Me and my friends went kayaking the next day in the streets. As far as cichlids go right now im thinking of kribs, rams, some apistogrammas, convicts, small children, and jewel cichlids

I have a co2 kit for growing aquarium plants given to me by the manager of my lfs. I don't plan on using it. PM me your teachers email or ask her if she wants my email and I will donate the kit to your class.

I'll keep you updated, the room is scheduled to be finished by christmas but they keep on moving the day back but I'll take a lot of pictures
 
You should maybe start a thread about the experiment on MFK as well if you have the time...

Might help other people and get some good feedback at the same time :)
