"Tefe greens" is just a commercial made-up name. There are several beautiful green discus in that group.
I have always thought tefe is the collection point. Or is it one of those things that, tefe sell for more$ so now their all tefe
Tefe is indeed Lake Tefe.
But not all greens come from Lago Tefe, nor greens are the only discus in Lago Tefe. A lot of fish who fit in the very broad category of 'Green discus', would likely be called by sellers 'Tefe greens', whether they come from Lake Tefe or from Colombia, or from somewhere else in Brazil.
The bottom line, some beautiful green discus, and some.
