150,000 Fish Die In Fire

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
any sensible person would do this:

I live in Ohio
I want to have a fish farm
It gets cold in Ohio

Therefore, I should have a way of keeping my fish warm when it is cold. Something like electric submersible heaters. Not a wood stove in a barn.

Sounds like the guy was either unprepared for winter weather (surprise! it happens when all the leaves go away) or just plain dumb. whatever the reason, he took a cheap way out of the problem, and it cost him. Those fish got a lot warmer than he planned.

lol, from their website:

We provide expert advice on pond setup and maintenance. It is our goal to be a one-stop source for aquaculture and pond equipment and supplies. Freshwater Farms also has converted several poultry, hog and cattle barns into successful indoor aquaculture operations

obviously not so successful anymore. "When your koi pond starts to freeze over, just build a small fire next to it".

Wow......harsh crowd.

how did he move 150,000 fish that size? To have that many, he should have had a heater

Did he have any marshmallows?

You guys are looking at the glass half empty. I mean if he fillet's those guys he'll eat for years. He'll get his money back in droves by the amount he'll save on his food bill.:D
