150 gal?

I posted on craigs list looking for tanks 150 gallons and bigger. I had someone respond. I will post the message that she sent me and you all tell me what you think.

I have a 150 gallon glass fish tank is very good condition. I would include the black metal stand, two filter systems, lights, top, etc. What are you looking to spend?

I emailed her back asking what filters it had on it. She responded stating they were whisper filters.

What would you all recommend I mention price wise? Reason for asking is I dont know what 150's run normally. I usually get my tanks free but I am tired of dealing with junk.
 
$150...THAT'S what I'll start with.
 
That's kinda lowball but you might be surprised...I'd offer $150-200 and see what you get for an answer.

Also maybe it's me but when I read metal stand and whispers I got a feeling the tank might not be quite 150G...you usually see a bit more involved filtration at that size. Could be, but I'd ask about dimensions.
 
The best deal that i can get locally for a new one is about 600 with out taxes. Thats 150g and a lowboy metal stand. So half that would be about right. IMO

I had the same thoughts...check the dimensions. You generally don't see metal stands for tanks over 55 gallons or so
