150 gal?

definitely get the dimensions. there are a whole lot of 125's around that are being listed as 150's. Also, don't underestimate the metal stand if its a good one.

all the LFS's in my area carry metal stands made by a local manufacturer that are much stronger than the normal wooden ones from Perfecto etc. I have them on all my tanks, all are designed for two tanks, and they can handle huge weights. I have one with a 90 on top and a 65 on the bottom for the last 15 years.

but they are not those 'iron angle' ones.

I guess it depends on how the stand was made and how level the floor is. My tanks are solid and dont wobble, thats why I keep sticking with them.

my next big tank will have a metal stand too.

it is true that they do not look as nice as wooden ones.
