150 Gallon Lighting.

I keep a lone RBP in a pretty bright planted tank, they get used to it. I have the tank in a pretty high traffic area too. He doesn't hardly hide at all, his personality is very Oscar like, kinda puppyish. My housecat and the fish duke it out through the glass all the time. I think the most important thing is to let the room get bright before blasting them with the tank lights. Just my .02¢

I had very little room to work with, but I managed to get the background up. Doesn't look great but it is better than what it was before. The new T5 bulbs will be in Monday.

New lights installed. Two flora grow and two midday bulbs. Now time for some new plants! Would you guys recommend hanging the lights a little higher above the tank? I curretly have it on its mouts and it is about 3-4" off the top of the tank. Again, it is a quad 54 watt t5 fixture on a 150 tall (31" tall). Thank again for everyone's help!

Sorry if I post the picture twice. I only have access currently from my phone and it is not showing on the previous message for me.
