150 gallon tank

That's a bummer you could always keep an eye on craigslist till you find a unbelievable deal... That's how I got my 500 gallon Tenecor Acrylic for 800 and my 130 drilled for 375 with stand and hood. Just a thought. Not sure how good your area is but there always seems to be a tank here that I want to buy.

There are some crazy good deals on there, just gotta catch them in time I guess, I just cant believe a relative would do that thoguh, money talk I guess

I don't know if you have a very active craigslist for your area, but I got my 80 gal for 20 bucks, WITH a solid oak stand for another 40. I've seen awesome deals on 100+ gals used tanks on our craigslist. (Last week some guy was selling his 300 gal acrylic for $400. I wish I had the space for more.) Seems to go in spurts, no ads for a few months, then a pile of crazy deals at once.

You can also consider a stock tank, or a DYI pond in the mean-time while you look for something nicer. and use the stock, DYI as a sump for what you find?

Sounds like a sweet deal. Just put a 150 in the man cave earlier today. It was brutal carrying that thing down basement stairs. Paid $500 for the tank, stand, filters and a couple of other items. Very nice shape though.

imagine carrying one from the basement to third floor a 150g 2 guys me and my cousin,what a work out,let me tell you,oh yeah,it was in a apartment,too.

Im going to keep checking craigslist then, most of the listings are in a bigger town about forty minutes from here so I might acually have some luck I hope ^-^
