If I can what kind? or I was thinking a baracuda if it would get along with the oscars. Let me know what I can keep in this thing out of the list please :D

That's why they're illegal :D

But yeah, what are the tank dimensions, and what are you looking to do with it?

Looking to build your stock list around your 2 oscars I take it?

Yah but if I can get a gar and keep it with one oscar then Ill just get one oscar. I just want to know out of the list being:

1-2 oscars
1 gar of some kind
1- 2 baracuda's of somekind.

what can I keep in my tank and how many of what?

Well, never kept a gar, and just some looking into the gar section I found the following.

Gar Tankmates - as of right now only people who have posted keeping it with cichlids have kept them with a Jag or a Black Diamond.

Gar Tank Size - For an 18" gar "nothing under 5' long and 30" wide is advisable", I don't know if there are smaller gars or not as I've never really looked into them.

**Edit #1**

Smallest Gar I could find in the gar info stickies is the Flordia Gar and it gets (according to the link) 18-22".

So based off of that info I don't think you could house for life a gar in your tank.

**Edit #2**

A 4' tank doesn't give CA/SA cichlids much room to establish territories which is needed. I know there are some people here who over stock their tanks so the aggression is spread around. Because of the footprint what about your 2 Oscars, some clown loaches then some type of dither/target fish?

I heard about florida gars are the smallest being a possable 22" I don't understand why one florida gar and a oscar wouldn't be okay together. I think that they would have plenty of room?

florida gar is in fact the smallest, but they aren't very flexible and its hard to turn around, not the best plan to keep a 20"+ fish in a 4'x2' tank when its not that limber, im not sure on the 'cudas, but with the snake heads on top of them being illegal they'd tear the heck out of your oscars, those things are just mean lol.
