i tested my nitrate and it was reading really high like 100 ppm will that make my water murky and greenish tint. i have chemicals that will help the nitrate. or do i just need to let it cycle

first off, YOUR TANK IS CYCLED!!!

nitrate is the end product of the nitrogen cycle

and NO chemical can help remove nitrate

the only way to get rid of it is through water changes

you can get a diatom filter that will clear it up quick, i also read in another thread that you can get the diatom powder alot cheaper at Home Depot so keep that in mind
