if you already have 2 big cans my answer would be why a 3rd... ac 110's are great for mech. and plenty good on bio ....and way less money than fx5

Not a 3rd i wanna upgrade to one bigger one either want one can or one can and a ac i have a 2217 with all bio and a aqua clear with mech and carbon on my 90 and like how that works but i dont wanna have to run 3 cans to get thw right turn over

I would say that,,,one of you current cans +2 ac110 would solve any flow or mech. filtration needs....

I'm a big fan of my fx5 as well. I am running it on a 125 with about 10 fish and the tank is pristine. I am also using an emperor 400 just with the bio wheels and no media for water movement but will be replacing it with a hydor korilia to push the water across the tank. It's easy to maintain as well.

Im pretty happy so far but i just got it hooked up i did a complete redecoration and 50% water change. It was really stirred up but after a hour of running it was clearing up nicely
