Is this good filteration for a tank that i am looking to buy?
150g tank 70"x18"x24"..:::::

1 110(i think its an Aqua Clear not really sure,the guy wasnt specific)its a hang on back filter.
2 powerheads.(dont know the brand)
1 heater

I think thats all i can recall i wasnt sure whether i was going to buy it or not(maybe i should have paid more attention to what he was saying):D

Anyhow i want to know what i can do to improve my tank,i want to keep it very crystal clear,meaning i want to be able to see my fish through the water. :D

what do i need to improve this,i also have a spare HOB filter that i am using for my 60g tank would that work

What about another heater or air bubbles,or something else?????i dont know
i am also thinking of getting sand as substrate

P.S. it will be a home to three oscars 1 pleco and 2 jds(or 1)

you're gonna need more than 1 AC110 for filtration. if it was me i'd do a wet/dry for filtration instead

how much do they go for(price) and can i get them anywhere like any petstore????

Add a canister in the Fluval 405 class...a pair of Hydro5 sponge filters and another AC 110. That should give you a good level of filtration without too much of a maintamce headache...

With the demensions you gave, the tank is not 150 gallons, more like 130 gallons. Don't know if the guy you are buying it from knows that or he could be misleading you.

As for filtration, definitely add another AC110, and also either a wet/dry sump or a good canister. That should be able to handle you projected bioload.

OOPS, sorry type-O.it says. 70Lx58Hx24W i guess the includes the stand for "H."

Congrats on finding your tank. I would recommend two AC110 and Fx5($200). This setup should be forgiving enough if you ever happen to be late on waterchanges. This dimension of 70Lx58Hx24W doesn't sounds right either. I think you meant 72 x 24 x 20. You should pay attention if you're planning to buy a tank so you do not end up with a lemon.
