Congrats on finding your tank. I would recommend two AC110 and Fx5($200). This setup should be forgiving enough if you ever happen to be late on waterchanges. This dimension of 70Lx58Hx24W doesn't sounds right either. I think you meant 72 x 24 x 20. You should pay attention if you're planning to buy a tank so you do not end up with a lemon.

NO THATS NOT WHAT I MEANT,ITS WHAT HE EMAILED TO ME SO I KNOW WHAT HE SAID.hard not to pay attention 2 that.

I have to agree with FishGoneWild that 70x58x24 is weird. I do not know of any glass tanks with those dimensions. Is this acrylic? Also, 70x58x24 is about 430 gallons, so you will need a LOT more filtration if that is the case.

FYI, for glass tanks, a 150 is generally available as 72x18x28, 48x24x30, 72.5x18.5x29 (Oceanic, they like to round to 1/2"), and 72x24x24 "BowFront".

No,i guess you guys dont get it,58" mean includes the stand that is how tall the whole thing is so now you guys get it:D anyhow thanks for the info,i know the standards of the tanks.I have done all the homework for sizes, and will double check the tank when i see it in person.

SORRY FOR ANY CONFUSION AND YES I DID THE RESEARCH ON THE TANK IT WOULD BE 430 GALLONS IF IT WAS THE TANK!

Still did not give me advice on how and what filteration.

get 1 Fluval FX5, 1 or 2 aquaclear 110's, and possibly a powerhead to agitate the top of the water if u notice it is looking kind of stagnent. the aquaclears should be enough for surface agitation tho.

Alright man thanks yea it comes with two powerheads he said which is pretty cool:headbang2 now i know thats a canister filter, but do you think its one of the best out there or is there a better one at the same price????

just looking for the best filter for this tank.

i have decided to get another AC110(that makes 2AC)just want to add another filter to keep it clean and crystal:D

Thank you to all who have been helpful:thumbsup:

sorry to burst your bubble but 2ac will not keep your water crystal clear, I though it would but I was mistaken. Your going to need to add a canister on there if you want the tank to be crystal clear.

Ok what type of canister do you suggest?

I owe Everyone an apology..You guys were right the guy didnt even know what size it was.he lied, and thanks to you guys i took my measuring tape and did the Formula and it came down 2 a110g tank....So once again i apologize formy ego

takes a big man to admit he was wrong even bigger to apologize ;) no problem man. look someone else mentioned the 2 ac's and fx5 and you would do well. i got one off ebay under 200 shipped free last week. also clip online ads for petsmart and take it in to get your supplies etc at thae online price. saves you 40.00 on aquaclear/emperor;) good luck with ya new 110g. show some pics when its set up.
