The tank is 6 feet long. I am going to try and get under the house next weekend to see what i'm dealing with. And yes, I also think the best answer would be to give me the tank
What about putting a board under the tank? This would help distribute the weight over a larger area. For instance, water beds can be kept on a 2nd story house. It's because the area of the bed is large and is distributed.
I would think also depends on construction. If it's an older house, it would have beefer joists (leading me to believe it would be stronger).
