It'd make me nervous without a center support.....But I'm a bit overkill with bracing I suppose.

I like the design. Just one quick question... is the front safe? In terms of supporting the load? I ask because I also want to build a stand, but to make the best use of the space available to me I'd like to stack tanks. I'd love the have the bottom tank unobstructed by a "leg", but how sturdy is this design? Otherwise, your stand looks completely solid!
I think your stand will be okay....but I'm no expert on the structural strength of wood. I wanted the bottom of my stand open too, working with a 210 tank.
