You might notice that many LFS keep discuss in less then good tanks. Discus, in my experience, can take a Dirty to clean change well, but not the other way around.

A planted discus tank would look nice.

I would suggest a 55gallon sump. Itll be a lot easier to work with then a 30.

If you went the discus route i would recomend you doing a drip system if possible.

my piece of wood is about half the size of my 125 gallon aquarium in the back of the tank. there are some amazing synodontis out there!!! lol

and yea ive decided that i dont want discus, id rather just look at them through glass that isnt mine lol
