hey guys!

guess what..i went on holiday for three weeks and just got back a day ago...came back home to find that my BGK has completely vanished in my tank...i think he got eaten because he didnt come out during feeding time...and he always used to... think i'm going to buy another when i get back from italy, i'm due to fly out this thursday...can't belive Jet Li (my knife) is dead....and i can't even see his body either..

trying to...trying to...regret going on holiday now, but then today i went into my lfs and saw a royal knife for sale...i'm considering buying it.....

So sorry to hear about your pressumed loss too Neervana :( It happened when you were away and wasn't your fault. As you didn't have it very long I'd get another BGK if you really liked it :)
Hadn't the person who was looking after the tank notice it was missing or did they not know what exactly was in?
Keep your chin up :D

hey rich! well... my mum was only supposed to be feeding the fish for me whilst i was away, and she doesn't know anything about fishes, she only knows that i left strict instructions on how much to feed them and how many times a day. my brother in law was in charge of cleaning it...so no...no one actually knew how many fish were in there or what kind of fish were in it. well i saw a royal knife that's just come in my lfs so i was thinking of buying it? what do u guys think?

Sorry for your loss. I don't think i've fully enjoyed a vacation since I started keeping fish for fear of losing some

^^^ yea me too i hate the feeling when going out of town or state or even country and feel the sense of what may be going on with my fishes...as i don't want to lose one or any of my fishes at all...its nerve wrecking...

Since I've had my main BGK for over 3 years I can only answer in a bias way, BGK

It's up to you at the end of the day :)

wow! nice pics!

Perhaps you should try to figure out what happened first - how big was your BGK and what is in the tank that might have eaten it? Also, I can't remember what size tank you have, is it big enough for a royal?
