Carefully...Actually, get a truck, make sure the tank doesn't move around on the truck, and a couple of strong friends. If it's glass, get more than a couple of strong friends. The Doctor.

I would use a Dodge Ram 1500. if its too much over 6', I guess I'd use a ratchet strap, too. I'd use an appliance dolly, too. one made to go up steps and curbs. I wouldn't trust my drunk friends with a tank, except for a few seconds at a time.

If I owned a lfs, I'd offer delivery and installation on large aquariums. heck, I'd offer on all aquariums. Why not maintenance, too? I'd probably make as much money on that as on the retail end. business would be great.

I'm looking for a funnier quote to put in my signature, but nothing has made me laugh that hard since.

I just got a 220 complete setup. if it's just the tank, a pick up truck will do. If you are getting the tank plus stand among other things, you are going to need a trailer or rent a box truck. Also, bring at least 3 friends. My tank alone weighs 300-400 lbs. It's 3/4" glass. I am a big guy and so is my Dad and bro. It still took 4 of us to load and unload the tank.
