I use pillow batting from wal-mart in all of my sumps. Never had any issues with it.

I add the second pump. It is working great!!!!!!!!!!

I did not get any batting. I used the furnace filter that I get for free and cut it and placed it so the water flow through it before going into the drip plate. Like a filter cartridge in a HOB. I will get some, but I was in a hurry.
