I just got back home and my ~8" ornate looked pretty plump. After looking in the tank for a while, I realized my ~4.5" lap was missing.

I'm very disappointed.

It's just really hard to find polys bigger than 7" for sale where I come from and I don't want to have to wait a year before being able to buy a newly bought poly in the main tank.

OMG, I'm very happy but almost embarrassed to admit this. I found my lap this afternoon. I have no idea where he was last night. I lifted out every rock and every piece of wood out of the tank and he was nowhere to be found. Yet, my ornate looked really fat. Much bigger than usual. I DID chop up a trout and gave them half of it last night. But unless he's the only one that ate, he should not have looked that big.

Anyway, I don't know what to say, but I'm very very happy right now!
