16' 1500 gallon tank

First off, awesome tank congrats. So, how are you or how did you get that inside your house? How many guys? It took 9 guys just to lift my 750 up three feet! Also, is that the stand that is going to be used? If so, I would beef that baby up with reinforcements bars/gussests as it looks pretty frail for a 1500 gallon tank. That will be over 12,000lbs in water weight alone!

Thanks for the nice words. First of all 9 guys will not be able to lift this thing up. I had about 10 guys but lucky we had two machine lifts to push this thing around while it was on the stand. You are correct about the stand, I have a welder coming over tomorrow to add braces for all the legs. Not only does the stand worry me but the thickness of concrete also worrisome. I do not want this thing to crack my foundation. I have another 1000 gallon is doing fine right now on a wooden stand so i'm crossing my fingers.

If I have the time , I don't mind giving my homies a hand. Besides, I'm just paying my dues. Guess whos phone is going to be ringing when I get my monster tank in the future. J.K. You and Streetlightz have hooked me up plenty times. Sorry my truck was down when we picked up your tank Brent but we managed.

So that is why you help me move.... J/K. Your a good friend bro. I guess I better go the gym more to get ready for your future tank.

Ha,Ha... It took 14 guys and a crane to move my tank that is similar in size and we still had trouble moving it into the basement. Japanese aren't the biggest of people.

Nice tank, will be good to see it up and running.

I can't even begin to imagine how fun it must have been to go around a corner in the house with that tank! And you say you have a 1000g tank as well? I'm not worthy! Please keep us posted on the progress, you lucky dog!

Here are a few updates. I want to really thank Not Just Fish and my cousin for all there help. There is no way I can do it without them. The bio tower is 6X2X1. The sump 200 gallon. The bead filter is a Ultima 2. You can also see the reinforcements on the stand.
