i should have known i would get this response....lol.....i just held him on tape long enough to pin him and get the exact measure then into the water...hes 16.25

I bumped up my old thread, it is so easy to snap that picture, quiets the critics.....
 
who cares if he took a pic to document? it seems to me that the fishes safety was first on his mind and not entertaining us with pics :nilly:although it would have been nice to see, its honestly not that important. a great fish, you should take pride in having such a beast.
 
its not that i dont believe you nor anyone else and i think you did do the right thing since your moving but seeing how rare 16+inch jags are on the site when he settles in and you have a moment go ahead and measure him with a pic. id love to see it. mine is 14 inches but i think hes done growing.
 
I wasnt trying to be a dick. I just thought if you were to move it and place him on a towel or whatever you could have had a tape measure already set to like 2 feet. Then when you set him down it would be good to go and quick. I think hes a great looking fish, hes just huge so I wanted to see a picture with a tape. Like I said not trying to doubt you, but when you title a thread and theres no real proof or any way to show his size..
hes huge and nice.
 
Also, I didnt know you were moving your house and tanks. Your title and then short little post just gives the impression that o hey I was sitting around and measured him. My comment was in response to that saying well if you took him to measure then why would you not take a quick pic..for proof and cuz it would be cool to have for yoursef. Next time for the slow people like me you can include your plans as well, so then I wont be a doubter mmk
