16 inch red devil!

My RD Psycho was 13" when he passed and was still growing. It's not uncommon to see Amphilophus sp. to surpass 12".

That's incorrect. While most RD's/Midas top out around 12", many surpass that number and grow to 13-15". Dozens of members on this site own Midas and/or Red Devils much larger than 12".

+1... I lost a 2 year old male that I grew from fry that was 13 inches. He probably would have grown at least an inch a year if he was still here.

i know, face on that large one looks at least 4 inches thick, he would give most dovii on here a run for their money weight wise! i think the two on the right would be considered above average by us lot, that other one is mammoth lol!
