Dang, I WISH my local Wal-Mart had an actual seafood department, or heck even an actual meat department. We have a 4' case and a bit in frozen and that is it. The only whole fish you can get is previously frozen Tilapia for 6$ a pound. The only smoked fish is tiny 2oz packs of Nova salmon for 5$. It sucks, the only fish worth eating is in the frozen section, and the selection isn't great.
All meat cutting is done off site because a meat department in Texas tried to unionize in the 90s, so if it aint on the shelves there is no one to cut what you need.
I would love to work and shop at that place.
