Hey guys,
I have a 160 gallon tank with a sump and I wanted stocking ideas for it. I want to keep an Arowana but it's too small of a tank for it. So all suggestions are welcome. Which monsters should I put in it?

There's a lot. You could get a kelberi in there (depending on the dimensions, if it's 6'x2' then you could do that), you could put some polypterus in there, eels, oscar, vieja, red devil, redfin pickerel, a haitian cichlid (again, depends on the dimensions), gulper catfish, most african cichlids, pike cichlid, mayan cichlid, wolf fish, bullhead catfish, etc.

What are the dimensions of your tank? That will help a lot.

Im guessing you want to go with a few larger, predatory type fish since you said monsters and mentioned arowana before.

Consider bichirs for sure. They're very popular with predator enthusiasts. Depending on the tank footprint you could certainly house a number of the upper jaw polypterus. Theyre compatible with a lot of tankmates. Red-tailed barracuda, pink tail chalceus, Gold wolf fish, lima shovelnose catfish are some other good oddball predator community fish.

If you wanted to go with cichlids i would go with a group of argentea or festae. Once my 150g opens up thats what I'll be trying.

Exactly, tons of options, but most of those fish will need a dedicated setup in this size tank, meaning they won't play nice together.
I would recommend doing a lot of reading on this forum and seeing what interests you the most, then deciding which direction you want to go in.

The dimensions are 5'×2'×2.5'
My bad it is a 185 gallon tank with 40 gallon sump. Can I keep an RTG Arowana in it.
PS: I'm in india so it is legal to keep Asian Arowanas

Too many options you could go with here, unless you narrow it down to a category. That's a very versatile tank size, with the exception of fish that will physically outgrow it. Cichlids? Oddballs? Community? I'm very much into cichlids and there are many medium cichlids that you could have a pair of in there, if breeding was something you're interested in.

I was thinking an Arowana, with 5 silver dollars, a pair of bichir, a pair red bay snook, and a pair of marble blue acara.
