how many RBP (piranha not pacu) do you think i could put in a 165 for life? im pretty sure the tank is 50 inches long, but im not sure about the depth (its more than 15") with average filtration?????
 
im not keen on shipping fish, and the only piranha ive seen in my area for the 7 years ive lived here is the red belly, but i might be able to get my lfs to special order but then i wouldnt know what id want. (i dont want to break the bank)
 
use my fish supplier, go to cichlid station.com, I have purchased several fish from them. all high quality and no problems. they have several spiecies of pirranah, and usually have specials on them
 
wow i just went to the site you mentioned and those are the best prices ive ever seen! (the piranha 5 packs)
 
yeah the guy that owns it is pretty cool, he gives me great deals all the time. like I said the fish are all high quality and he gaurantees them
 
in a 165 i would put 8 or 9 reds... if you were going to put in piraya i would start with the same number but thin out to about 5 or 6 as they grow.

You can easily keep up to 8 for life, I'd even dare to say 10 but you'd better go with 8 all the way long.
