Factory reset today lol. Took out 90% of the carpet. I'm going home for Christmas Monday so thus tank will go 2 weeks without maintenance. I'll change timer on the lights to only run 7 hours a day instead of 12.

Tank is being rescaped. I rushed it the first time and I became sick of it so redoing it all

Heres the tank filled a few hours later. Prefer this scape a lot more

And here it is now that it cleared up. Plants will find their spot soon. Much happier with this one

im really debating it but ugh i so much work... lol and i gotta scape it just right lol...

I feel your pain!!! Thats why as much as i loved my old HC carpet and Dwarf Hair Grass carpet, i said never again... maintaining it in long run can be a real hassle...

A little update on it. I really don't do anything to this tank just top off the water with the dosing bottles and that's it. Currently no stock, I may place a shrimp order soon
