I never realised your tigers were such big boys, they look great but those rays are real nice too.

It's a great looking community, you must be really pleased with it.

Think you might try a NGT again any time soon?

Thanks for the comments ash. ;)
To be honest. . I dont think I will get another ngt. If I did.. it would mean moving on one of existing fish.. and at the moment the balance and community temperament works well.
Im also looking forward to growing these little bass up.. but when they get big big.. then ill have to way up which fish I like best and move a couple on..
I know a guy called bones that could rehome my bass if needed in the future:D

Djaalix... I also love the contrasting body shapes. Interestingly these two never fight and often swim together pushing the others tigers about .. no damage done no split fins... just kinda saying this is my space.. who knows.. they may be a pair male and female.
The background is juwel make:Limestone
Shame the rays keep chewing bits off. !

Hey ade, are we not supposed to feed dats lance fish?? I'm curious if it has a negative affect on them bc I occasionally feed my dats lance fish.

Sam.. im by no ways ssying dont feed lance fish or white bait. It doesnt have negative effect..I know many of dat keepers that feed this. For years.. no problems and very healthy dats.

I use to feed loads when my tigers were small . Say less than 10 inch...
But this time.. they hadnt eaten fish for a few years.. and with pellets as staple... maybe a sudden change to oily fish just upset one of the big tigers tummy. Or could have been a bad batch.

I'll just stick to hikari as staple then prawn and muscles. Muscle is a great source of food imo.

Very nice dats! The tall Indo is just awesome! Your tank is a true beauty to behold. Love the big archers too - love their unique shape, feeding habit, and colors!

I am getting my ngt soon so wish me luck. I am trying to complete my dat collection and after the ngt the only thing I will be missing is a true ST (in its place I have 2 CTs presumably from different locations). I just need to grow out my 3" silver. Hopefully the new ngt will be a more socially tolerant specimen. If not, my plan B is to move him into the overflow tank that I will set up next to my main tank, but I really want to have him among the other dats.

Thanks for compliment. Glad you like the tigers and archers :D Some people think the archers look out of place .. and saying I should sell them... each to their own I guess. Most people who seen them really like them. Ive had them from 3.5 inch and they have prppbably peaked at 8.5 inch now.tough as nails. Ive grown auite attached to them and will never get rid of them.
Hope your future combo work out. To be honest. . A ST and CT are both coined as.widebar.. so if u add ngt and silver.. to it and ntt.. you will a complete set imo. ;)
That I have not see yet al in one tank
(I have minus the AT and that looks great too)

I would consider when people tell me what fish to get but never let anyone tell me which fish to lose lol who says dats can only go with aros, ffs, rays, and bichirs? in fact the archers make your tank unique!

I am really looking forward to putting the complete dat set together too!

I have to say your tall indo is shaped surprisingly like a really fat AT to me, i have to repeat - it is too awesome!
