Also its not nessacarily true that if it was it would cut the line. Ive caught plenty of toothy critters including sharks w/o a leader. If the the hook is long shanked and only stuck shallow in the mouth the shank of the hook would act as a leader...

DeathCurl, for me it started off by going over to my friends house and seeing his 10g in his room. I went back home and saved for 6 months to buy a 10g for my room. One little lion head gold fish and a pleco. I was 9 years old. The rest is history!

he was fishing for carp so the hook was most likley not long shank, most likley a small trebble like the ones used in trout fishing, but I know its possible I was just playing the odds. either way that must have been some surprise

I like the way some of the guys talk about they would have eaten it, I wonder what pacu tastes like????
