Collosoma macropomum is the true black pacu. The pic he posted is collosoma macropomum.

The tail/caudal fin is a dead give away. Black pacu has a rounded tail, not sharp edged like the one depicted.

Its not so much the correction, its more the way a lot of people go about correcting someone that is really messed up. but i still think the shots that people take at noobs are funnier.
