Glad to see he is doing so well, I to am excited. My trio are growing fast. Can't wait till they get even close to that size. How is he with the rays, is he spooked easily at night when they are active? Do you keep a light on in the room or use moon lights.

I'm really excited that he's doing well..... I've always loved Armatus and the thought of not being able to keep them is about as heartbreaking as it gets for a hobbyist like me that found this site on a quest for care info on Payara.

I even told myself never again after the last batch, but like you said, they're such a great fish it's worth it.

I will get you a video! I told my self never again, but i take that back...lol
If something happens to him, ill get another!

He is fine with the rays. My rays were perfect size IMO for raising this arm. They dont pay him much attention at this size.
He is like any other armatus, he will get spooked if something big messes with him (just pray he don't crash!). I do keep moon lights on 24/7. At night he still patrols the tank!

Tilipia is pretty much it. i havent even messed with stuffing them.
He eats almost every day. Some days he may miss, but mostly because something took the filet before he could get to it. those are the days he will leave a big gash on the SD's.

Thanks Keep, was curious if you kept moon lights on. Figured it would be the best way from keeping the rays from spooking him at night if completely dark and receiving some head trauma.
