but i also have to tell you that rtc's are like cars, they depreciate. they are 4-5x more expensive as juvi's as larger adults. there are too many people trying to give them away to good homes for people to pay for them. most people CANT give them away. by the way i dont think you will enjoy eating him, he's not a channel cat. where they come from they are plentiful but the people wont eat them cause there meat is not right.
 
if you feel like delivering him to iowa i would take him by the way.

Add some soy sause would taste better :naughty:
 
i already have a rtc, and a tsn, and a rtc x tsn. was just saying i would take it instead of you cutting it up cooking it and then deciding it doesnt taste good and throwing it out. if anything cut it up and feed the raw meat to your other fish, dont eat it.
 
You would have to find a really dedicated fishkeeper to buy a large rtc for $100-$200. If you were closer to me I'd consider it for $25. I bought my baby for $25 at 1", and they don't even sell them in montana, I had to special order it. Good luck.
