how does it bight it's own tail? anyways bumps for frees..

LOl, yeah this arowana acts like a dog. If he not getting enough attention in the tank then he will start biting his own tail. I have 12 fishes in a 150 gallon tank. Arowana are pretty sensitive fishes!.

have you personally seen it bite its own tail? jardinis are, in my opinion (along with asian arows) one of the least flexible arows compared to a silver lets say-hard to believe it does that...any video of him biting his tail?
i bet its the dat...

i would let it heal up too...gl with the sale!

LOL, Those are not scars on the arowana! its called spangles like the peacock bass orinos!!!
Spangles on fishes are more rare then plain ones! This fish has spangles from head to tail which makes him an amazing rare jardini.

by spangles do u mean the red dots?

The aro is about 18inch long. Yes i have seen him bite his own tail plenty of times, The jardini swims in 360 reaching for his tail then bites it. The dat is scared of him. Nobody in the tank messes around with the Jardini. If you had a 18inch jardini, im sure youll see him bite his own tail for attention. Not to mention jardini are not community fishes, maybe thats why he goes crazy and bites his tail.
