18 inch Siamese tiger

This fish died after 12 to 13 years living in a 135 gallon tank. A minuscule amount of oil based paint accidentally got into the tank and killed everything except for a Pleco and the Jack Dempsey. It weighed almost 6 pounds. I took photos of it next to a tape measure.
They have been selling them here for years. Prior to this one I had a couple of Silver Dats. Both got to around 12 to 13 inches. The Widebar harassed the Silver Dat so much I had to give him away. I got the Widebar when it was 3 inches. The widebar had a nastier disposition. It took an intense dislike only to specific fish. One scat was ignored and would even follow the widebar around and another one was killed by him. Pretty cool fish. I have some videos of him eating some large feeders, I will try to upload them to youtube when I have the time.
