18 inch Silver Aro

from my experience, he looks no more then 7 months old. maybe 8... they start puttin on good weight around 18" and after the 1yr mark. til then they look like yours, get longer but still look young. after the 1yr they start getttin fatter n start lookin older

thats some impressive growth! i always thought it took more like 1-2 years to reach that length too.

as long as your fish has room to swim, he will grow like he should. an arowana can easily reach 2ft within 2.5yrs

now that i think about it, i have only had mine since february and it is already 7". it was only 1 to 1.5 inches when i got it. so i have only had it 4 months and it has grown 5 or 6 inches. so in a year it could easily reach 1.5 to 2 foot.
