I'de replace the top brace structure.. you can see where they where removed. 75$ for a 180 is a steal.. I wouldn't trust that tank past the 40% mark with water .. might bow and pop a seal if the seals are still good.

For 75 bucks its worth it. Even if it needs reseal job. If I lived in Conn. I'd be going to every goodwill in the state looking for that right now.

Depends on how much time you want to put into it. You could just weld a brace to slide down over top. I would def do that before you fill it up. Get the bracing done first, then test it with water. Chances are it was used for reptiles or something.

Nice find! go to glasscages.com and order a new top brace, once you have the new brace on fill it slowly and check for leaks along the way...that's the steal of the year for $75
