You cannot see the picture because you do not have at least 5 posts. You account will open up once you reach the minimum.

To everyone else. If he doesn't want to post pics, he doesn't have to. If people want to ask, that's fine as well. So, let's drop the discussion about whether he should or should not post pictures.

Pharoah,

Thanks for the clarification, it was driving me crazy.

The other frustrating thing is I can not send a PM with my phone number to even talk to the seller about seeing the tank.

True that. No argument there.

Cultures aside, its still up to the seller what information he wants to provide. If buyers doesnt like it, then they can move on.

Well sure. But the seller can expect much lower demand and thus a lower price. Cultures aside, that's how markets work.

I live what I imagine to be <3 miles from him and would be interested if I had a photo to give me an idea of the quality of the stand. But without one, it's not worth the effort to deal with Chicago traffic and parking to get over there, even with that short distance. Maybe that makes me slightly lazy, but that's not an unreasonable position for someone in the suburbs to take. Chicago is a big city with nightmarish traffic patterns. Right now half of Lincoln Square between 4-5000 North is under construction as well. The more info a seller can provide before a trip to town, the better. And don't forget that for people who don't own trucks, the investigative visit and the pickup visit end up having to be separate, meaning the effort to drive there is doubled.

If someone has no camera that's one thing. But a steadfast refusal to post photos is just stubbornly damaging your own market.

The tank is set up in a small corner of the furnace room of my apartment bldg, along with a 150 gal and a few other smaller tanks. I doubt I would be able to take a full shot of the tank for you guys.

If you are in the area, feel free to give me a call to set up a time to check it out. My # is 773-541-1258. My intention is to sell this tank to someone close to me, If you are far away, I apologize for not being able to accommodate your requests. If it helps, I do offer a 1 yr warranty on the tank (within 30 miles radius), however I do need to make sure you set it up properly - tank being level.
