Bro if you ever come across wild color morph snooks you better shoot me a PM haha.

Will do, and same goes to you. ;)

Haha, or anyone else out there.

If anyone brought those in, i, and many others i'm sure, would pay a pretty penny for them.

Hmm, how low would i need to go to have a reasonable shot at spawning them?

Would you think the NGT would be able to live with them in a 180?

What kind of price would i be looking at for a few of them as juveniles or a sub adult pair?

I can't say for sure, I assume that an influx of rain water and temp change would trigger them in the wild, not sure how much the rain water would drop the ph, but if you only need to go a little past 7 that shouldn't be too hard. They can live perfectly fine in your water, no changes required, the only problem is that the eggs may not develope because of the higher ph and hardness that is generally associated with high ph (calcium in particular). I am in the process of getting my ph and hardness down for my Lents, it seems to be working, they are showing signs of spawning - mine is down to 7.0-7.2 from 8.4, just mixed some RO and a BIG pile of driftwood.

I can't say on price, we are spoiled here, when I had cincta years ago, they were about $20 each at 5-6".

lol i have a pair of doviis in a 180 and they do fine XD i even leave the frys in there and do perfectly the bigest one is about 3" 7 of them XD

What about dehumidifier water? I have basically an unlimited supply of this, and i've tested it before, comes out to almost exactly 7.0.

Did you keep yours with any tankmates? Do you think an NGT datnoid would be okay?

Are there any other big pikes that come from water similar to the cincta?

Most dehumidifer water has copper or other heavy metals, depending on what they made the coils out of.

that would be more like distilled water :) I have never tried it, but, have heard horror stories! Tankmates are disposed of by any pikes I have kept when spawning started, that is just my experience, not gonna guess how they would deal with a DAT.

Damn, well i wouldn't want to risk my dat, finally got him onto market prawns.

But i'm gonna give this some thought, i won't have money to do any restocking until i get a job anyway.

I have a bunch of ideas on my mind.

Thanks for all the help guys.
