180 gallon community tank ?

Okay I know I'm gonna get flamed about this most likely but I'm think of selling off all my big cichlids and bichir and my motoro stingray and make a community tank with rose line sharks , Bala sharks , and some tetras and barbs what do you guys think

sounds nice, peaceful community has an appeal to it, I'd also add large docile cichlids like angels, geos, or (possibly) severums to your setup
 
I couldn't part with even one of my bichirs, and we can't keep rays here. If we could, I wouldn't sell one for anything. I do see the appeal to go with a community tank, though. Sure less hassle. I couldn't do it, but I see why a person might be drawn to the idea.
 
I do already have two severums that will be in it and four clown loaches that will be in there I was thinking of getting some gold nugget plecos also to put in maybe like 2 or 3 the sevs are 3 inches and the loaches are pretty big three are 6 inches the other is 4 inches so they will be staying and once my fish are sold I'm putting in a sand bottom and I am putting plants plus I already have drift wood in the tank so in the end it should look nice once I can get my fish sold

Sounds good, I like watching little fish in big tanks more then some big fish just a massive school of fish swimming every time you look is nice, Really want to do something the same with angels and 100-200 rummy noses I think that would look great, your idea sounds good also roselines are amazing to watch.

It's funny you bring up rummy nose tetra I'm going to get a school about 20 to 25 and you that why I like the idea I think the schooling in the big tank looks amazing that's why I want to do it

I toy with the idea but would want to go all in planted. Have you tried plants with your sevs, mine is worst than silver dollars.
