180 gallon community tank ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
sounds good. i wouldnt get the bala's tho. a big school of roselines are nice. i had 12 of them at 5"+ regret selling them.

This is exactly what I did. I was tired of 1 big mean cichlid in a tank and the rest cowering in the corner with shredded fins. Roselines are the ideal fish to me. They get 7 inches school have color when small always moving about the tank and never hide. I have 4 at 6 inches in my 50 with a large angel and some boseman rainbows. Really love the colorful peaceful lively tank. I do miss my flagtail and giraffe cat though.

Keep ur fish/tank....and build another tank!

As of right now I only have room for my one tank do I'd have to sell my fish to do this if I could just setup another tank believe me I would once I'm in my own house in about 2 too 3 years I'll have plenty of room to do whatever I want but as of now I need to just stick with the 180 I was going to buy a 500 gallon but didn't even have enough floor space to fit the footprint of that tank lol

Okay I know I'm gonna get flamed about this most likely but I'm think of selling off all my big cichlids and bichir and my motoro stingray and make a community tank with rose line sharks , Bala sharks , and some tetras and barbs what do you guys think

why worry about getting flamed, its your tank in your house feel free to do whatever you wanna do with it. if you wanna raise a lone guppy, go for it. as far as your idea it sounds nice and if it makes you happy even better. good luck on whatever you decide to do

yeah lemons my 2nd fav cards 3rd =D

You could always go with a mix of the 3, I have this in one tank it and it works pretty well, rummys stay rather low and move around pretty fast, the lemons stay mid to high and move well schooled, then the cards sit in the middle not moving very fast you get the best of both worlds :D
