alright guys thanks for this thread turning around. My girlfriend loves helping me and she is great, i did blow up a little and i can see how it was thrown out there. Lets get this back on! Ill post some updates tonight, i have got quite a bit done. And yes i got a shop light for my tank, its kind of ugly and bare balls. So yes i got that gutter from homedepo and it really makes a nice finishing look. I got the filtration all set up and just need a heater and some fish. And for the person with the saltwater tank , yea mine did look like yours. No one would help me move the tank so i had to clean it inside, What i did is get a cup of water and soak the sides and get some clean water on the bottom. Took a hard sponge , and scraped the sides down and got all the mess to the bottom. Please be advised though when cleaning SW. Even though it looks clean, its not. You will need to get all of the salt off the sides and just keep doing it. Then with all the crap in the botom with a little bit of water i took my vaccum and sucked all the water and crap out. It was worse then dump my protien skimmer. Alright guys ill get some new updates up!

The new kitten has been taking away some of my time but its just so cute, the Red Texas hates him.

Alright guys sorry the light looks crappy, the gutter isnt on it. Ill have more pics of the sand i used, and my diy filter system, and we will begin to stalk, Tank is already cycled!

more pics later today, ill make sure to get as much in as possible. Then we start stocking the tank... If anyone is selling some fish , and think it would be a great addition let me know. My girlfriend is having problems with deciding what to put in the tank. Let me know what you guys want to see in this tank! Ideas will be much appreciated. There will be for sure a jar or arowana in it though...

Jar as in Jardini? From what I've read they are super aggressive and will kill or eat pretty much anything in the tank with them after they get over 8-10 inches or so. Just something to think about.


Nice tank, it cleaned up nicely.

No worries , Ive had worse fish than a jardini, I need that aggression for the tankmates it will have. Ive been pretty good with fish and their tempers. That moray's best friend is a 3 inch clown trigger , he tryed to eat him at first until i used raki on him :)
