I agree with picking up media online. The AC110 is fine and only requires rinsing of the sponge. It'll cost WAY less than $10 a month. I have an AC70 and a 3pk of replacement sponges was ~$6 if I remember correctly.

FWIW, I've found the best prices and service over at KensFish.com (sometimes you can even get decent deals from Petsmart).

No i don't have a wirlpool in my tank.....lol just alot of big fish. And i agree once you buy a AQUACLEAR HOB it last a long time with out buying anything just wash your filter out in tank water every few weeks and presto here's a pick of my tank. see not to much current
