No the CL aren't feeders.

I bet that little loach is scared to death of the jar.

Loaches are not scared at all in fact they try and steal some shrimp from the Jar's mouth when he eats. The substrate is Black Sand. I don't know what brand though but I'll check up on it.

The rock is out. I just need to buy more sand for the tank.

beautiful jar, and i think youve inspired me on my aquascaping. i had black sand in one of my 30 gals. now i need to find some more.
