I'm thinking about getting a 180 gallon, but I'm not sure if I will because idk if I can get the fish I want for it. Could I put a fire eel, a fahaka puffer, and a stingray in it?

fahaka puffers are very mean and I definitely wouldnt keep them wiht a stingray. A stingray and a fire eel would be good though.

Dont know quite what you could keep the fahaka with. Practically nothing. THe fireeel and the stingray are peaceful so anything that wont hurt them and are too big to be eaten

Nope, it'll maul the rays...trust me, I've seen it attempted, and an eyeless Motoro later, the Mbu was by itself....

the mbu would be by itself, just wondering if i could keep it in a 180 for a while before it got too big.

Also... could i get a fire eel, a tiretrack eel, a stingray, and a bunch of types of knifefish (i know the same types arent good together, but what about different types?), and a couple of catfish?

I don't know how well it would work with a puffer but you could try putting very small fish such as tetras etc in with him when he's really big and the puffer might just ignore them because they are so small
