We have to keep them, love them and take care of them" then you act disappointed, and you say "I thought we had a deal about the new house?" she says "I know but I'll make it up to you :)" then you say "oh ok (fake tear time), but the fish look lonely in there, they need friends, I guess your gonna have to drag me to the LFS to get more". My work here is done, good luck lol

Take her to the lfs, where they have display tanks and of coarse the cast from finding nemo....serious thats what got most people a years ago into the hobby...and still does!

Surprisingly she doesnt like orange ocellaris clowns, only black ones. We have two of them in our reef tank right now.

My wife is the same way. I was kinda shocked when she asked for a black clown instead of orange
 
If you wait to get the house ,then shell want a vacation next lol, too good of a deal to let slip by. My wife drove 200+ miles in 2 trips in 1 day to go pick up my 135 gallon and stand , even helped unload it into the garage. Now she says " I want big fish in this one ". Just tell her these types of deals don't come along everyday , can't pass it up .

Hmm, I don't ask for permission. My wife doesn't need to ask me either as long as our purchases are not detrimental financially, spiritually, etc. At 36 years old my days of asking if I can buy something I want are long over. That is how I ended up with two tanks in the living room one in the entry one in our room, one in my studio, and one in a hallway. She does the reverse with antique sewing machines etc. I want her to have want she wants even if I have to load it, set it up, repair it, etc. She wants the same for me. Like I tell her when she wants something, "get it we'll figure it out when we get home" and we always do.
