As for installation. The hardest part was cutting it. I had to cut it into 4 sections to get in the tank. Then it's simply using silicone to put the pieces back together. It was a pain at first because of the stress of damaging it. But it's like a puzzle so after the first piece is put on everything else just falls into place. Big opening at the top is key to simplicity. If I can put it together anyone can...lol

The bottom part of the root extends to the front of the tank so it does take up quite a bit of space. I'll try to take a side picture so you can see. You'll probably loose about 1/4 tank space.
Really nice tank, Im tempted to look into this background as well but had a question. When you have algae growth, if ever, what do you use to clean the background and does it damage the paint at all? I will read the website myself for this info too, just wanted to see if you had any exprience with that yet.
