my tank is in my basement as well..so when i took it downstairs i laid it on a flatened box and slid it down the stairs on top of the flattened box and just guided it down gently...worked great
if you do this make sure to keep a strong hold on your tank when its going down the stairs...or else lol

no you just gotta let it fly down the stairs and see it crash at the bottom!! HAHA!!! good idea.

My 150 is in my basment and hopefully it'll get set up in a 2-3 weeks (I'll post on it when it's done). It would be hard to keep something of that size from sliping though.

Well I was trying to show my mom some good resons for letting me get a 210 Because she thinks 210 is to big, so here is my plan gone wrong. In the place were my 210 will be going I desided to use tape and measure out a 210 then measure out th 45 inside to show the difference. When I was done I pretty much siad Holy S**T lol I ended up not showing my parent because the 45 looks like a ant comparded to the 210. Just thought I would share you guys have any reasons I can tell them?

If the tank fits, you must own it.

my 180 Acrylic weighs less than my 75 glass. A 210 looks great because you have so much more viewing height.

First off just want to thank all of you for your help. Today I went to pick up my tank my mom talked me out of getting a 180 or 210 I ended up with a 150. But now im glad I went with it because its HUGE!!!!!. I used the sliding method to bring it down stairs and needed 5 people to help navigate it through my house. The plan was originally going where picture #1 is but I have changed my mind and its going to be built into a wall that is a non-supporting wall in picture #2. The placement is perfect. Picture #3 is behind the wall and Picture #4 is the water pipes im planing to put a Tee connecter in the and bring a pipe down with a on/off valve so I can use it to fill the tank and use it for water changes in picture #5. And some other pictures of the tank.
