Silver aro, gg, flagtail, p Bass, walking catfish and gibb. In the 6x2x2. I am saving up to buy fx5 I am thinking two of them what do u guys think? O ya btw I think i will also add either power head or inside filter.

Get 2, I have 2 on a 125g , I don't like my filters working too hard

I have one FX5 on a 240, no problems for the last 2 years

I would get 2. I have a huge wetry and an FX5 on my 240 gallon frontosa tank.

I had one for the longest time my 180gal but I just installed another FX5 on my 180gal so I have two with a power head as well works awesome!!:headbang2
The only reason I installed another one is I have tons of fish and I want to keep the filter running smooth and possible and take some load off the one so both can do the job!

I would be sure to add a powerhead, fx5 doesn't disturb the surface enough. A AC 50 or 70 should do, Aquaclear 110s do a great job at getting oxygen into the water too, but the fx5 creates more of a current not really a good surface disturber.

People are way too eager to recommend spending insane amounts of money on filtration.

I have one FX5, 2 koralia powerheads, over 40 inches of dovi, and over 50 inches of clown loaches in a 240 for 2 years, no problems..........spend all you want, my fish are very healthy.
