I know you don't want to risk it but do you think the tank could hold a few inches of water if you made a paludarium?

Yes,that's what I would try.Maybe some mudskippers and some amphibians that could co exist with them and grow some mangroves....I will try this someday.The relatively small amount of water shouldn't put very much pressure on the crack.

Thats a cool idea, I've considered it, but I assumed that the high salinity for the mudskippers would limit choice of herp you can keep with them, so always kept my mudskippers solo or with archers
